In a world shaped by transformation, we need spaces for (political) exchange, connection, and collaborative learning.
The Summer Academy 2025, organized by InterCultur gGmbH in cooperation with Stiftung Mercator and Karlshochschule International University, brings together young changemakers (Alumni of Mercator Foundation programs), alongside participants from other initiatives and academic networks, for nine inspiring days of learning, exchange, and co-creation.
The Summer Academy will take place from July 19 until 27, 2025 at Karlshochschule International University in Karlsruhe/ Germany. It is funded by Stiftung Mercator.
Under this year’s theme “Building Bridges” we open the Academy for the first time to all alumni of Mercator programs – Your experiences and perspectives matter.
There will be a dynamic mix of lectures, workshops, group work, practical projects, discussions, and interactive methods. We will discover the cities of Karlsruhe and Heidelberg and engage with local initiatives and projects working on future solutions.
